OUR AIM

We aim at strengthening the initiatives being run by the government of India and various non profit organisations by synergizing them to aggrandise the target masses through proper training,enabling them to make the most out of opportunities.
We at ENACTUS, aim to provide support for this noble work under ”Project Sahyog”. Our aim is reaching out to the underprivileged sections of the society and making them aware of different schemes and policies undertaken by the government for their welfare and helping them avail those schemes.

Motivation
Despite the efforts of the government to increase the reach of its schemes and initiatives for the underprivileged, a section of society still remains left behind mainly due to the involvement of some sleazy middlemen. Lack of awareness and information deficit also exacerbate the problem. In this fast paced digital era, lack of technical knowledge also holds back the underprivileged section and hinders their progress.

MAJOR DELIVERABLES

• We conduct training camps for the rural folks (especially youths) enabling them to avail key digital services.
• We organise awareness campaigns about the crucial schemes being run by the government and the ways to access them.
• We arrange health camps (specially for women folk) to spread awareness about the importance of vaccination and menstrual hygiene among rural women.

AREAS COVERED

• EMPLOYMENT - various employment schemes and websites.
• HEALTH - basic hygiene habits, sanitary napkins, local hospital and doctors contact info.
• EDUCATION - local school visit, children’s study material, different govt. educational scholarships.

VILLAGES COVERED

Our College has 5 villages under us. Before the COVID scenario we had started our work in Musepur village.

CONCLUSION

Our project SAHYOG, which is inspired by the schemes that the government implements for the rural sections of our nation, definitely has a long way to go.
